Community Apple Orchard at Mount Stuart – Learning and Volunteering Opportunity

Join us in celebrating the Community Orchard at Mount Stuart.

We have a series of orchard education events lined up for 2020. With your help and support, we’d like to get the apple rolling early in the New Year.

Enjoy the expert guidance from our gardeners in a number of pruning workshops offering hands-on activities which cover all aspects of Apple tree care.

A creative programme supported by Achievement Bute and Mount Stuart Trust’s Sat-Art-Day has been created for the maintenance of the orchard.

In anticipation of chilly temperatures at the start of the year, tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided in our warm garden bothy.

Interested in volunteering? We welcome any support from garden enthusiasts to share their expertise and enjoyment of the fabulous grounds. The series of Orchard events for 2020 will ensure that all ages can take part in celebrating, using & being inspired by our island apples.
