Christmas tree chipping in Rothesay
The Mount Stuart staff are chipping in to ensure that the island's Christmas Trees are recycled and reused this year.
From 12– 4pm on Sunday, January 5, volunteers from the Mount Stuart gardening team will be on hand at the bandstand area in Rothesay town centre to chip the island's Christmas trees. The chipping product from the Christmas trees will be donated to Fyne Futures and Bute Produce to be used for mulch.
Bute Sawmill have also agreed to participate in a kerbside collection service on January 5 morning, by appointment. If you would like to book a kerbside collection, please contact them on email@example.com.
