The Isle of Bute is home to some 6,500 people. It is perhaps the most accessible of the Scottish islands and accessed via the ferry from Wemyss Bay (35mins) which is only 45mins from Glasgow.

Mount Stuart Trust are looking for tenants with an aspiration to work collaboratively with others and in particular the wider island community. With a food and drink or bespoke creative business based idea we will support your existing or new start up business to progress. Demonstrating integrity, innovation, excellence and energy are all vital qualities required.
The successful applicant
Will produce a commercially sustainable business plan including a 3-year cashflow forecast including proposed rent.
Have enthusiasm to work with Mount Stuart Trust towards environmental, sustainable and social aims and show how the businesses will engage with local producers.
Mount Stuart seeks to support tenants in whatever way we can. The Trust have several residential properties which may be available to rent by separate Private Residential Tenancy.
