Introducing the Courtyard Pantry
You may already know our Courtyard Cafe – now step into our new space, the Courtyard Pantry!
Nestled in the main Courtyard (in the former 'Yellow Tea Room'), the Pantry is designed for those on the go. Pop in for a coffee and scone (to enjoy here or takeaway), a hand-scooped ice cream, or to browse our new collection of predominantly Scottish-made products.
We’re proud to serve Scottish-made ice cream from producers including Wee Zoe's, a Rothesay-based ice cream artisan. She will be creating seasonal, bespoke flavours using produce from our kitchen garden – keep an eye out for these limited treats!
The Pantry also features a curated selection of homewares and accessories, including Isle of Bute candles, wool and cashmere pieces by Hilary Jane Keyes, Fairtrade chocolate, and ceramics and furnishings. Many of our makers are part of the Isle of Bute Artist Collective, reflecting the island’s rich creative heritage.
Small and intimate, the Pantry offers very limited seating. Perfect for a quick pause or a takeaway treat. We’ve introduced a delightful range of dog treats, meals, and even dog-friendly ice cream, along with some beautiful accessories. We look forward to welcoming you.
Open to the public from 11:30am to 3:00pm on house opening days.
