A special pumpkin harvest
We were delighted to welcome some local children for a special pumpkin harvest with our Gardens Team.
Having planted the seeds in our Kitchen Garden earlier this year, the children returned to help gather the very last of our homegrown pumpkins, discovering a wonderful variety of shapes, sizes and colours along the way - from tiny to giant, and white to orange and striped green.
They will now enjoy a new lease of life in the Nursery’s very own pumpkin patch. A lovely way to celebrate the season and share the fruits of the children’s hard work!
A huge thank you to our junior horticulturalists at Rothesay Primary Pre5 for helping us grow a little pumpkin magic at Mount Stuart.
