Vacancy: Assistant Chef (Seasonal)

Mount Stuart gardens & cafe reopen for the season on Saturday 1st May 2021. Applications are now open to join our established seasonal team.

Our Cafe requires a motivated and creative Assistant Chef to join the team for the 2021 season. Serving hearty homemade dishes and delicious home-baking, the Café is a popular destination for locals, members and visitors. Successful candidates will help to plan menus and create dishes using seasonal produce sourced from our Kitchen Garden and other local suppliers. The successful candidate will also be responsible for stock ordering and maintaining cleanliness standards in the kitchen.

Working closely with and reporting to our Production and Development Chef, you will deliver a first class food experience both in the café and at events. Successful candidates must have experience in a similar role.

The role is paid hourly (rate according to experience) and is fixed term May-October. Weekend and bank holiday work is part of the role.
