Fun for Children

Mount Stuart is a wonderful place for children to explore and have fun, and children can bring their bicycles to discover their surroundings on our bicycle-friendly estate.

Why not pack your own picnic or pick up some tasty treats from our eatBute farm shop and explore the gardens? Benches throughout the grounds are perfectly positioned to appreciate the tranquillity of the Policies, whilst you enjoy a family lunch.

We make sure that our younger visitors are well catered for in our programme of events too, with a variety of activities tailored especially for children taking place throughout the year. Please see our What's On guide for details on eatBute and the many other children's events we host throughout the year.

Our purpose built adventure play area, next to the Visitor Centre, is free to use and provides a safe outdoor environment for all ages to have fun. Picnic tables conveniently located nearby mean you can watch the children whilst you enjoy a moment's break!
