The house and grounds are open daily throughout the clement months, giving visitors the opportunity to explore at their own pace or take a guided tour. Inside, you can delve into a superb array of theatrical rooms - inspired by history, astrology, art and mythology. Outside, more than 300 acres of picturesque gardens, pasture and woodland unroll towards the unspoiled coastline.
Our state-of-the-art Visitor Centre is an attraction in its own right. Opened by Richard Attenborough in 2001, this award-winning building provides 360° panoramic views as visitors feast on locally-sourced meals and snacks. Admire ever-changing exhibitions in the Gallery and browse our Gift Shop and innovative Garden Centre.
