Farm Shop

Situated in the Visitor Centre Courtyard next to the Garden Centre, the eatBute Farm Shop is stocked with many fantastic products from Bute, and the surrounding area of Argyll.

The eatBute Farm Shop opened at Mount Stuart on the 23rd May 2010, coinciding with our first Food & Craft Market of the year. It is designed to give local food producers a location to sell their products to visitors, thus raising awareness of the quality of the food and drink offering in Bute, Argyll and indeed Scotland.

We have now re-opened our Farm Shop after a refurbishment and are open daily, with new stock arriving daily.

Monday to Friday: Noon – 3pm
Saturday & Sunday: 11am – 4pm

There will be a selection of Mount Stuart's own home-made produce including Fresh Bread, made every morning in the Main Kitchens of Mount Stuart and some of the freshest produce from our Kitchen Gardens at Mount Stuart, only a stone's throw from the Farm Shop, so it couldn't be fresher. Local oatcakes, tablet, jams, chutneys, seaweed, lamb, beef, milk and cheese are among the delicious products available from our Farm Shop, and we are working closely with all of our eatBute participants to extend the range of products on offer.

The Farm Shop also serves as the production unit for our eatBute hampers, which are available to buy from the Farm Shop, by mail order, and will shortly be available on line.
