Squirrels and birds nestle among the foliage in the exquisitely carved friezes that surround the Dining Room. Situated just off the Marble Hall, this impressive room has long been used for important dinners and stylish entertaining.
Your guests can admire the outstanding collection of 18th Century portraiture that hangs on the walls, including original works by Ramsay, Romney, Reynolds and Gainsborough.
The table, set for dinner, features a selection of William Burges' amusingly designed silver fish plates. Stunning chandeliers and candelabra light up the room and original 18th Century fireplaces decorate each end - these are said to be removed from the original Mount Stuart house.
The Dining Room creates an exquisite and glittering ambience that is ideal for a wedding reception. While not suitable for dancing, this wonderful room lends itself to evening entertainment in the form of a harpist or string quartet.
